Hardware Engineer |

Responsibilities
• Research, design, and develop embedded computer and networking products.
• Follow projects from initial specification through to manufacturing.
• Prepare engineering specifications, diagrams, power budgets, bills of materials, etc.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Related work experience (1 year Full-time after graduation or Cooperative Education Training)
Skills
• Proficiency with schematic design and layout tools
(preferably Mentor Graphics Expedition PCB and Design Capture).
• Proficiency with various debug and test equipment
(multi-meters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, simulation programs)
• Circuit design and understanding of schematics, design rules, and component data sheets.
• Experience with Verilog, VHDL, C++, and Assembly |

• C programming experience
• Linux knowledge
Skills
• Experience with Embedded Software Development
• Embedded Linux
• Microcontroller code development
• x86 BIOS development
• Knowledge, Experience or Understanding of the following:
• Windows, Linux, Embedded Linux, UNIX, Uboot, C/C++, x86 Assembly, Shell Scripting |
