Facility
Overview
Located on a wooded 28 acre site, DTI's 140,000 sq. ft.
facility lends itself to efficiency in taking a product
from engineering design through production. The complex
is divided into two connected sections, a three story Science
and Engineering building and a manufacturing facility. The
manufacturing facility is divided into two production areas
separated by an access controlled stock room. The east wing
of the facility accommodates system production while the
west wing houses a computer board assembly area containing
two fully automated surface mount lines. The entire manufacturing,
engineering, and stock room have state of the art permanent
anti-static floor treatment which insures protection against
electro static discharge. |

PCB
Manufacturing
A state of the art PCB assembly facility gives DTI the ability
to apply new assembly processes as the latest technologies
are engineered into the design of products. The board handling
equipment has allowed DTI to create an automated assembly
line which translates to improved quality of product. Products
manufactured by DTI are subjected to a rigorous series of
tests in the production process.
To address the growing number of domestic and international
EMI/RFI regulatory standards in the industry today, DTI
has the latest in EMI/RFI measurement equipment which allows
a prescan of both board level and system chassis products
prior to submittal for formal regulatory certification.
DTI is fully equipped to perform FCC Class A testing as
well as FCC Class B prescreening services for both in-house
development products and customer specific system configurations. |

System
Manufacturing
In addition to the growth experience on the computer board
side, DTI is continuing to experience substantial growth
in the delivery of complete packaged systems. To accommodate
this growth, an expansion has been completed which significantly
increased the systems assembly area.
While
DTI has developed a broad selection of standard system chassis
products, oftentimes unique application requirements dictate
the need for chassis modifications, additional product functions,
special paint colors, and even complete "ground-up"
chassis designs in implementing designs from scratch. In-house
metal shop capabilities make it possible to construct a
working model of a modified system, or to verify aspects
of the design before committing to production quantities. |
