Hardware Engineer
Location: Ridgeland, MS
Responsibilities
• Research, design, and develop embedded computer and networking products.
• Lead or assist with projects from initial specification through production manufacturing.
• Prepare engineering specifications, diagrams, power budgets, bills of materials, etc.
• PCB Schematic Entry and part selection.
• PCB Layout including symbol and cell generation and signal integrity (SI)
• Develop test criteria to verify hardware functionality, bring-up and debug first article designs, and perform hardware verification testing.
Required Qualifications
• A BS degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• 1-5 years full-time related work experience (after graduation).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate highly technical concepts at levels appropriate for audience.
• Ability to work and collaborate with other team members to accomplish tasks.
• Ability to manage time effectively to complete tasks within specified time frame.
• Willing to become subject matter expert on new or unfamiliar technology as required to support new product designs.
Desired Qualifications
• Proficient with schematic design and layout tools (preferably Mentor Graphics Expedition PCB and Design Capture).
• Proficient with various debug and test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, simulation programs)
• Circuit design and understanding of schematics, design rules, and component data sheets.
• Experience with Verilog, VHDL, C++, and Assembly
• Understanding of DFM Concepts (Design for Manufacturability)

Switch Software Engineer

• Develop test criteria for verifying product functionality, perform verification testing and debug as necessary.
• Assist in resolving customer-reported issues associated with integration of DTI product.
Required Qualifications
• A BS degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 1-5 years full-time related work experience (after graduation).

• Proficient with LVL7 Fastpath Software
• Cisco certifications - CCNA, CCIE & CCNP
• Experience or understanding of Windows, Linux, UNIX, C/C++, and shell scripting.
• Experience or understanding of TCP/IP, SNMP, Open HPI, Spanning Tree Protocol, Advanced Layer 2 Functionality, Layer 3 Routing Protocols, networking RFC's, Quality of Service.
