FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

DIVERSIFIED TECHNOLOGY, INC. RELEASES COM EXPRESS MODULE

CMX-Lx45 – New Embedded Board supporting Intel® Core™ Duo or Celeron® M Processor

Embedded Systems Conference, San Jose, CA – April 3, 2007 – Diversified Technology, Inc. announces the introduction of this highly configurable module based around PICMG®’s COM Express Specification.  The board features options for processors, the Intel® Core™ Duo and the Intel® Celeron M.  The System-on-Module design of COM Express makes the architecture perfect for a variety of applications, including industrial automation, military deployments, medical imaging, and more.  Any space-constricted application that requires a small form factor, an easily upgradeable design, and extended I/O capabilities in the embedded market will benefit from the CMX-Lx45.

“If there is one form factor in the embedded computing market that requires more of a ‘partner selection’ rather than simply a board feature selection, it is COM Express” says Joe McDevitt, VP of Technical Marketing for DTI.  “Through DTI’s cohesive approach to embedded solutions, we offer not only feature rich Com Express boards, but our most successful engagements occur when DTI is looked upon as an extension of your engineering team—not a group of engineers perfunctorily performing a set of assigned tasks.  This cohesive approach is instrumental in the development of your specific Com Express deployment.  This cohesive approach extends to even the managerial levels, where, for example, DTI has helped our customers secure federal funding through our federal lobbyists.  DTI’s difference comes not through the feature set of any one form factor on any given board, but through our cohesive approach to customer engagements.”

About the CMX-Lx45
The CMX-Lx45 embedded computer module features either the Intel® Core™ Duo processor or the Intel® Celeron™ M processor.  The board is designed around the Intel® 945GM Express chipset and features up to 2GB of PC2-4200/5300 DDR2 SDRAM (non-ECC only) on a single 200-pin SO-DIMM socket.

Availability and Pricing
Production shipments begin Q2/2007. Single piece pricing for the CMX-Lx45 is $1,025.00.  Call for quantity discounts.
