December 2, 2009 – Diversified Technology, Inc. (DTI) introduces a new family of industrial rackmount systems and single board computers designed around the PICMG® 1.3 Specification. The TreXpress Systems give the PCI Express market numerous design capabilities for which to develop their media gateway, system monitoring, industrial automation, medical control, network management or surveillance/security applications around.

“DTI has taken two of our existing rackmount chassis and transitioned these computing strongholds for our company in to an even greater reaching product line with PCI Express support,” says Donald Germany, DTI’s VP of Systems Engineering. “The new LHE8912 and LHE8921 single board computers are designed around the PICMG 1.3 spec and with our new backplane options for the existing 2U and 4U chassis, we now have the ability to service our customers that want to use PCI Express for their applications.” |

About the LHE8912 |

The LHE8912 is Diversified Technology's Intel® Core 2 Duo™ 45nm LGA-775 package processor based board designed for today’s high speed/ high bandwidth applications. The board is a PICMG® 1.3 compliant processor board that combines low price with high performance for the market’s data centric requirements. The board was designed around the PCI Industrial Computer Manufacturers Group's (PICMG®) 1.3 specification which was adopted to provide more data throughput than the PICMG 1.0 standard. DTI's LHE8912 is equipped with a 2.8GHz Intel® Core 2 Duo™ 45nm LGA-775 package CPU, 3MB L2 cache and support for up to 4GB of memory. The LHE8912 utilizes the Intel® Q965 and ICH8DO chipset. |

About the LHE8921 |

The LHE8921 is Diversified Technology's Intel® Xeon® Dual or Quad Core™ LGA-771 package processor board designed for today’s high speed and high bandwidth applications. The board was designed around the PCI Industrial Computer Manufacturers Group's, PICMG® 1.3, specification which was adopted to provide more data throughput than the PICMG 1.0 standard. DTI's LHE8921 is equipped with (single or dual) 2.33GHz Quad Core Intel Xeon processors, with 12MB L2 cache and support for up to 32GB of memory. It utilizes the Intel® 5100 and ICH9H chipsets. |
