CompactPCI is a passive-backplane, bladed architecture that passes PCI and/or switched 1G Ethernet across the board interconnects. CompactPCI has excellent thermal, shock, and vibration characteristics, and I/O may be passed to the front panel or an RTM.
DTI's CompactPCI offerings comply primarily to the PICMG 2.16 switched Ethernet specification.
