DTI Introduces Portable Computing System Capable of Closed Operation

September 27, 2011 - Diversified Technology, Inc. (DTI) has developed a variation of its portable computer
system that is designed to continue full operation even with the cases lid closed. This PCS-101 system
will be on display in Booth 2059 at Modern Day Marine in Quantico, VA from September 27th-29th.<br />
<br />
"The success of our existing PCS-001 Portable Computer led us to developing new ways in which we could
give our customers even more from this mobile system," said Donald Germany, Vice President of Systems
Engineering for DTI. "By allowing for closed operation, the unit now has full scale implementation of all its
ruggedized features. It’s water and dust resistant performance improves the computer’s effectiveness in the
harshest of conditions. The protected, internal components are designed to allow for customization within
the end-program’s requirements."<br />
<br />
About the PCS-101<br />
The PCS-101 is a highly portable computer system contained in a watertight, hardened enclosure. The enclosure
is a Pelican 1510 case, which is airline carry-on size with wheels and telescoping handle. The PCS-101 was
designed for rapid deployment into harsh environments that may include high levels of exposure to water and/or
dust while still maintaining full-time system operation. (www.dtims.com)<br />

DTI Announces UL Compliance for Gale Series of Grid-Tie Inverters

September 14, 2011 - Diversified Technology, Inc. (DTI) has attained full UL 1741 Compliance for its Gale-6
and Gale-12 grid-tie inverters. Both of these inverters will be on display in Booth 611 at the Small and Community
Windpower Show in Des Moines, Iowa from September 15th-17th.<br />
<br />
Diversified Technology, Inc.’s Gale Series of wind turbine inverters are variable 3 Phase AC voltage input,
variable frequency, high power inverters with 240/208VAC single/split phase output that have been developed
specifically to serve the wind power market. When combined with a wind turbine, DTI’s Gale Series inverters
take the variable electric power generated and create pure sine, clean, filtered power that can be sold to the utility.
<br />
<br />
"Our US based customers require UL 1741 compliance in order to tie their small wind turbines in to the existing
utility grid," said Donald Germany, Vice President of Systems Engineering for DTI. "This certification covers
inverters, converters, controllers and interconnection system equipment used with Distributed Energy Resources.
DTI also has DC Voltage Input versions of these units going through UL testing. These versions will allow
DTI’s Gale systems to pair well with applications that require an external controller that may already act as
a rectifier."<br />
<br />
About the Gale Series of Grid-Tie Inverters
Managed by DTI's Green Power Technology, the Gale Series inverters allow a wide input voltage range with
energy-saving low speed power mode to allow for smooth operation even at minimal turbine revolutions, and
many other features designed to meet the specific needs of the wind power market. DTI’s Soft Grid Technology
allows the inverter to continue to produce the maximum amount of power even during wind gusts that would
otherwise cause over voltage on the grid. This is useful in rural locations during light local loading conditions.
This maximizes profits for the operator while preventing annoying system resets. (www.dtims.com/wind)

DTI’s VPS10K Provides Power for Climate Regulated Cargo Trailer

                May 18, 2011 - Diversified Technology, Inc. (DTI) along with the Space and Missile Defense Command in
Huntsville, Alabama, provided the Mississippi National Guard at Camp Shelby, MS with a VPS10K tactical inverter
to use for their mobile AC power requirements. The system was mounted on a HMMWV and was powered by the
400A alternator already installed on the vehicle. Initial operation of the system consisted of multifunctional tasks
including power driven tools such as drills, saws, air compressors, and lights.

DTI later learned that Camp Shelby had procured 10 Climate Regulated Cargo Trailers (CRCT) to be used for
natural disaster relief. One hurdle observed by the Mississippi National Guard was mobile power availability for
the refrigeration compartments. DTI provided on-site technical support at Camp Shelby to help configure the
VPS10K in order to meet the requirements of the refrigeration unit. Once testing was complete the results
confirmed flawless operation of the VPS10K system in providing the necessary power for the CRCT, as well as
offering additional power for other support devices requiring AC power.

DTI worked alongside with Sergeant First Class (SFC) Leo Campbell and Staff Sergeant (SSG) Robert Douglas in
set-up and testing of the VPS10K inverter. Upon completion of these tests, SFC Campbell provided DTI with a
summary of the National Guard’s testing.

Comments related to the applications for the system include:
"It can be useful in many purposes such as national disasters or state emergency. It can also be mobile for combat
and non-combat field training exercises. We here at MATES are very proud to have this unit in our fleet and we
have used this unit in many applications when an auxiliary generator was not available." - SFC Leo Campbell.

Comments related to mobile operation include:
"The unit operated smoothly. For the next test we wanted to see if it could run the unit while mobilized so we took
it out for a road test. The unit operated and performed up to our standards. We are very confident that this unit will
perform to standard for this type of application."- SFC Leo Campbell

Conclusions:
"When you are called up at a moments notice and you need a power source at any location and there's not an
auxiliary generator available, you need to know that there is another source of power and with this piece of
equipment you won't have to worry." - SFC Leo Campbell

"This will put M.A.T.E.S Camp Shelby on top of the other M.A.T.E.S" - SSG Robert Douglas

About the VPS10K On-Board Vehicle Power Unit
The VPS10K’s modular design with separate phase enclosures offers easy maintenance access while functioning
either in single or 3-phase operation. The system provides AC power on-the-go (for applications such as charging
batteries) or in stationary mode and is operational with either a 200A or 400A alternator source. 50Hz, 60Hz or
400Hz operating frequency selectable from one power inverter (no additional hardware required, Frequency
selectable through the output AC connector). The simple retrofit for vehicle integration is environmentally sealed
and designed per MIL-STD-810.

Safeties within the system include input over voltage protection, input under voltage protection, over current
protection as well as overall system monitoring. The system also monitors the vehicle’s temperature and oil
pressure. Supports multiple mounting options based on specific mission requirements. The VPS10K reduces
the size and weight of payload requirements for 10kW power generation.

- Provides power generation in a smaller, smarter and durable concept
- Capable of achieving power levels without utilization of a trailer towed approach
- Allows for installation that does not affect cargo space
- Waterproof Design
- Doesn't require a trailer
- HMMWV can now operate under preferred mission requirements
- Provides the solider with more options in accomplishing objectives
- Does not jeopardize safety based on limits imposed by previous solutions
- OBVP focuses on flexibility, mobility, portability and durability
