DTI Unveils Two 6U CompactPCI Blades based on the Intel Core i7 Processor

February 16, 2011 – Diversified Technology, Inc. (DTI) introduces the newest members of its CompactPCI family, which includes multiple processor blades, switches, and systems and full integration capabilities. The CPB4912 and CPB4912V are based on the Intel Core i7 Processor with speeds up to 2.53GHz and supporting 8GB of DDR3-800/1066 memory. The CPB4912 with Intel’s Core i7 processor presents faster, more intelligent multi-core technology. By applying processing power to where it is needed most, the CPB4912 and CPB4912V allow multithreaded applications to perform much more efficiently and unleash breakthrough performance in PICMG’s 6U CompactPCI form factor.

DTI's ATC6239 AdvancedTCA Blade, Now VMware Ready Certified

January 20, 2011 - Diversified Technology, Inc. (DTI) announces the certification of its AdvancedTCA blade as VMware Ready Certified, with ESX 4.1 and ESXi 4.1 for Virtualization. As a VMware Technology Alliance Partner (TAP), we can provide our customers with jointly supported hardware solutions. The program creates a broad ecosystem of devices that are certified to run with the VMware ESX product line and VDI, making available more choices for DTI's customers and new platforms. "With the increased demand for Virtualization in the data center, we can provide a VMware compatible solution for the embedded server space based on the ATCA specification. DTI certified our ATC6239 with the latest version of VMware’s ESX and ESXi server hypervisors which allows our customers to leverage VMware’s virtualization software products and shorten time to market.", said Patrick Welzien, Senior Software Engineering Manager for Diversified Technology, Inc. The ATC6239 has also been tested with Windows Server 2008 R2 Hyper-V and Xen virtualization solutions.

This portable system represents DTI’s commitment to high-end communication and processing applications within the militarized battlefield and their need to provide a high performance computing solution in a light, ruggedized platform.

"DTI has a wide range of products that were designed for our military customers", said Donald Germany, VP of Systems Engineering for Diversified Technology, Inc. "These range from mobile power for HMMWVs and shipboard applications to rugged computing systems such as our new PCS-001. With this portable system we designed the computers components to be housed in a Pelican 1510 case providing a water-tight and sand/dust proof enclosure for the soldier. The basic unit is powered by a COM Express CPU Module based on the Intel Core 2 Duo processor, but the processing system itself is completely customizable to what our customer’s need dictates."

December 2, 2009 - Diversified Technology, Inc. (DTI) introduces a new family of industrial rackmount systems and single board computers designed around the PICMG® 1.3 Specification. The TreXpress Systems give the PCI Express market numerous design capabilities for which to develop their media gateway, system monitoring, industrial automation, medical control, network management or surveillance/security applications around.

(DTI) announces the release of ES3 (Enhanced Switch Software Suite) for their ATS1936 AdvancedTCA Switch and corresponding support packages. The ATS1936 represents DTI’s 3rd generation of high-bandwidth, feature rich switches for AdvancedTCA. DTI has successfully deployed this switch in many environments, ranging from telecom central offices to military battlefields. The new ES3 software significantly enhances the functionality of the ATS1936 over any AdvancedTCA switch offering currently on the market, and comes with three available tiers of support packages.

DTI Offers Twelve-Core AMD Istanbul AdvancedTCA Processing Blade

August 3, 2009 - Diversified Technology, Inc. (DTI) announces higher performance for their ATC6239 AMD-based Node Board by supporting Dual, Six-Core Fourth Generation AMD Opteron processors (Istanbul). The blade is a PICMG® 3.1 Option 9 compliant processor blade that provides greater performance per watt than previously offered for intensive multithreaded networking applications.

"Our ATC6239 product now supports 12 (Istanbul), 8 (Shanghai), or 4 (Santa Rosa) total cores," said Patrick Welzien, VP of Engineering for Diversified Technology, Inc.
